Sensational Kenyan comedian, Chipukeezy, played host to an awesome array of comedians gathered from across the East African region, to a scintillating comedy night yesterday.
Dubbed East Africa's Comedy Tuesday, the hilarious show was held at the Kenya National Theatre in Nairobi.
The star-studded event saw a powerful lineup comprising of Kenya's Eric Omondi, Dr Ofweneke, Eddie Butita and David The Student, Uganda's comedy sensation Cotilda, Rwanda's Arthur ans Alex Muhangi and Idris Sultan and Captain Khalid from Tanzania, thrill the impressive turnout with their rib-cracking jokes.
"This is the new frontier when it comes to comedy from East Africa. It's all about selling out our brand out there. It's no longer necessary to sit pretty and wait for other people to sell you. We are taking matters to our hands now and this is the future of the comedy industry in East Africa and the world," said Chipukeezy in an interview.
