JUST WHAT HAPPENED to a politico who had reportedly threatened his rivals after
declaring interest in a higher seat? Well, the man is now purportedly the talk of his home town
as his folk grapple with what could have made him run out of steam. Some of his
privileged clansmen were allegedly
overheard at a popular political address saying how the fellow should “look for
a seat at the school of politics”. Word is that the fellow has supposedly run broke and fallen out of
favour with a godfather, and is now keen on retaining his current seat.

A LAWMAKER IS said to be distraught after his mother, who is turning out to be
the sponsor of his lavish lifestyle, reportedly turned off the taps. A member
of his inner circle whispered to Corridors of Power that the decision followed
the man’s political declarations. Apparently, the politician’s recent public
pronouncements on the 2027 political direction have not gone down well with his
sponsor. The man is said to be pensive about his catch-22 situation, his
supposed sponsor insisting the taps will only resume flow after he publicly
denounces his move.
