Making sweet potato crisps at home allows you to control crisps' thickness, fat content and seasoning.
To make your homemade sweet potato crisps you need the following ingredients.

- One large sweet potato
- Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dried thyme
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Then peel and cut the sweet potato into half.
Step 2
Slice the halves into small and thin round slices, in a clean medium bowl.
Toss the sweet potato slices with four tablespoons of olive oil until is fully coated.
Step 3
Season the slices of sweet potato with half a teaspoon of pepper, salt and dried thyme.
Then arrange the slices on a baking sheet without overlapping the potatoes.
Step 4
Place it in the oven and bake for about 25 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
When ready remove them and let them cool to room temperature.
Serve in a bowl and enjoy your snack.
