Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital
(KUTRRH) has announced a recruitment drive, inviting qualified candidates to
apply for 99 vacancies available on both contract and permanent and pensionable
terms.
The positions cut across senior management, clinical
specialties, technical roles, and administrative support, as the facility seeks
to strengthen service delivery and expand its operational capacity.
In a notice issued by the hospital, KUTRRH said it is
looking for “highly motivated, dynamic, and result-oriented individuals of high
integrity and innovation with the ability to deliver results” to fill the
advertised positions.
The hospital, one of Kenya’s largest referral facilities,
continues to grow its workforce in line with its mission to enhance health
outcomes through patient-centered and evidence-based care.
Among the senior leadership and specialist roles advertised
are Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Development; Deputy
Director, Administration; Assistant Director, Security Services; Senior Medical
Specialist (Gastroenterology); Senior Medical Specialist (Haemato-oncology);
Medical Specialist (Radiation Oncology); Medical Specialist (Nuclear Medicine);
Medical Specialist (Pediatric Surgery); and Principal Accountant (Credit
Control).
The hospital is also seeking to fill a wide range of
clinical and technical roles, including Medical Officer, Registered Nurse,
Senior Counsellor, Nutrition and Dietetics Officer, Research Officer, Nuclear
Medicine Technologist, Assistant Radiographer, Laboratory Technologist,
Radiation Therapy Technologist, Theatre Technician, and Health Records
Information Assistant. Administrative positions such as Senior Administrative
Officer and Senior Office Administrator are also open for application.

All applications are to be submitted online through the
recruitment portal, with the email subject line clearly stating the position
and reference number.
The deadline for submission is Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
KUTRRH emphasised that it does not charge any fees at any
stage of the recruitment process and cautioned applicants against fraudulent
solicitations. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
The hospital further warned that canvassing will lead to
automatic disqualification.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to demonstrate
compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution by providing mandatory
clearance documents, including certificates from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption
Commission (EACC), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Kenya Revenue
Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Credit Reference Bureau
(CRB), and recognition/accreditation documents from CUE or KNAQ for those with
foreign academic qualifications.
