A mega celebration is in the works at an address within the City with an imminent changing of the guard. Details trickling into Corridors of Power are that plans are in top gear, with big names as possible attendees. A social media group has been created to coordinate the planned party, which we are told would be funded fully by taxpayers. One of the organisers was overheard dismissing a colleague, who had questioned the colossal amounts of money being planned for use at the event, claiming that they can as well print the bills.

Some suppliers to City Hall who are claiming they were conned out of jobs without approvals and budget by a female employee are up in arms again. The disgruntled lot is agitating to meet the highest authority to not only to have the lady sacked but also to talk to the bosses about an alleged impending embarrassing display by angry suppliers and contractors. Their aim is to press the matter until the seemingly notorious lady is removed from the supposedly lucrative department. They hope the county boss is listening.

A senior government official who was recently moved from his post due to alleged shoddy deals is not resting easy. Word has it that his bid to annul the deals he sealed is proving to be a tough nut to crack. The man is said to be pleading with friends to spare him the sack but no one is willing to have his back, his having ignored their calls and text messages. It is whispered he received a cold reception at the new post, and it is only a matter of time before he clashes with his highly temperamental new boss.
