India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said India offers new hope for the world in times of global unrest and conflicts.

According to the Times of India, Modi was highlighting India's rising stature at the international level during a video conference at Karelibaug, Valodara where he addressed the 'Yuva Shivir', a youth camp.

"From delivering vaccines and medicine to the world amid the Covid crisis and scattered supply chain to the role of a capable nation for peace in the midst of global unrest and conflicts, India is a new hope," he said.

The PM added that the Indian literature and Saints taught that the development of a society depends on its youth and promised to include youth in the nation-building and social service.

He added that the country has become a guide to the path of Yoga and the power of Ayurveda.

"We are emerging as a nation looking forward to a new future from software to space. The goals which were considered impossible for India once, the world can see how we are doing much better," PM Modi said.

Modi said India will continue being new by combining both new knowledge and their old age culture.
