A governor in one of the counties in Nyanza region is reportedly a restless man. The county boss has been fidgety ever since he supposedly received a list of 20 demands that area Gen Zs want addressed, if he is to ever have peace with them. The youths have purportedly warned of daily street protests to demand for his resignation, to pave way for new leadership. The first five demands, the youths have apparently insisted, must be met within two weeks.

A clerk in one of the county assemblies has reportedly been threatened with the sack. This is after exposing glaring corruption deals and rot being perpetuated by some members of the county assembly service board. The threats presumably came after the clerk appeared before a parliamentary watchdog committee, where he revealed the corruption and embezzlement of funds under the watch of assembly speaker. We are told members of the county assembly service board are said to be determined to have the clerk fired for exposing them.

Board members at a troubled state corporation are reported to be in a fresh push to have the agency’s chairman shown the door over alleged involvement in financial scandals. According to the group that wants the besieged chairman fired, his continued stay in the office is seen to be supposedly tainting the image of the agency as the government struggles to revamp it. The faction supporting the besieged chair is allegedly said to be his partners in crime.
