The ministry of education will receive three new Chief Administrative Secretaries- Elly Stephen Loldepe, Mark Lomunokol and Anab Mohammed.
The three CAS appointees are all former elected leaders, two of them lost the 2022 elections.
Elly Stephen Loldepe was a candidate in the Samburu West Parliamentary seat where he vied as an independent candidate.
He lost to youthful Naisuula Lesuuda after garnering -6,956 votes.
Loldepe served as Maralal ward MCA from 2013 to 2017.
Mark Lomunokol is the former Kacheliba MP, he lost elections in 2022 to Titus Lotee.
Lomunokol's had 17,963 votes while MP Lotee got 20,073 votes.
Lomunokol served as Kacheliba MP between 2013 and 2022.
Further, Anab Mohammed Gure is the former Garissa County Woman Representative.
However, she did not vie in 2022 and decided to focus on Kenya Kwanza campaigns.
Previously in the ministry of education, Sara Rutto, Zack Kinuthia and Mumina Bonaya were the CASs.
According to a statement released by the Head of Public Service Felix Koskei on Thursday, the list has 50 CASs nominated.
The nominees will now be vetted by the National Assembly before appointment by the President.
Ann Mwangi, Nicholas Rioba and Edwin Wandambusi have been nominated to serve in the office of the Deputy President.
Former Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura, Sharif Ali and Rehema Hassan after parliament approval will serve in the office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary.
Regional balancing, loyalty, gender balance as well as expertise are some of the key factors seen as likely to inform how the President picked the candidates.
Ruto was also keen not to disappoint his allies, some of whom played key roles during the campaigns that saw him elected the president.
