
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will start on June 11, 2026, and run until July 19, 2026.
The opening match will be played in Mexico City, Mexico, while the final will take place in New York/New Jersey, USA
Several international music stars have been confirmed for performances linked to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Colombian singer Shakira and Nigerian star Burna Boy released the tournament’s official song, Dai Dai, in May 2026.
FIFA said the track will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
FIFA has also confirmed that Shakira will co-headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show alongside Madonna and BTS.
The performance will take place during the final on July 19, 2026.
Other artists connected to the World Cup album and opening ceremonies include LISA, Anitta and Rema, who collaborated on the song Goals.
FIFA said the trio will perform the song live during the opening ceremony in Los Angeles.
