Fuel supply disruptions have shifted from an occasional nuisance to a persistent hurdle for the vast majority of consumers, according to recent polling on the crisis.

A combined 54 per cent of citizens are now dealing with chronic fuel scarcity on a near-constant basis.

Specifically, 19 per cent of respondents report facing shortages very often, describing an almost daily struggle to secure petrol or diesel, while another 35 per cent encounter the same deficit often, experiencing supply gaps several times a week.

This high frequency of dry pumps underscores the systemic nature of the supply chain breakdown, leaving motorists and businesses in a perpetual state of uncertainty.

The data paints a stark picture of a market where reliable access to fuel has become the exception rather than the rule, forcing consumers to constantly plan their schedules around unpredictable station openings.

Even those spared the daily anxiety are not entirely immune to the market friction. Thirty per cent of the population experiences shortages occasionally, indicating that while they might avoid the worst of the daily gridlock, the threat of empty pumps remains a regular feature of their monthly routines.
