A recent GeoPoll survey reveals that Kenyans hold varied expectations regarding the duration of the ongoing fuel shortage, with the majority anticipating a prolonged crisis.
According to the data, a combined 54 per cent of respondents believe the situation will persist for at least a month or longer.
Specifically, 30 per cent of those surveyed expect the shortage to last for more than one month, while another 24 per cent fear that it will evolve into a permanent, long-term issue.
An equal portion of the population, accounting for 24 per cent, is slightly more optimistic, predicting that the crisis will be resolved in about one month.
On the other hand, smaller segments of the population anticipate a much quicker resolution.
Fourteen per cent of respondents believe the shortage will subside within one to two weeks, and a minimal eight per cent expect it to clear up in less than one week.
