
Kenya Revenue Authority has demonstrated a consistent upward trajectory in revenue collection over the past six financial years.
Data indicates that annual mobilisations began at Sh1.607 trillion during the 2019/20 period, rising slightly to Sh1.669 trillion in 2020/21.
A significant surge followed in 2021/22, reaching Sh2.031 trillion.
This momentum continued through 2022/23 and 2023/24, with collections hitting Sh2.166 trillion and Sh2.407 trillion respectively.
Most recently, revenue mobilisation grew by 6.8 per cent to reach a peak of Sh2.571 trillion in the 2024/25 financial year.
