Cybersecurity threats increasingly target key sectors that rely heavily on digital systems.

Technology leads with 23 per cent of reported interactive intrusions, followed by manufacturing at 15 per cent and retail at 12 per cent. Financial services and healthcare also remain vulnerable, recording 11 per cent and 10 per cent respectively.

Telecommunications, government, and industrial engineering sectors face moderate risks, while academia and media report the lowest exposure.

These intrusions are deliberate disruptions affecting user experience and system operations, highlighting the need for stronger cyber defences across industries worldwide.
