The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has unveiled its newly ratified leadership lineup, signaling a fresh phase in the party’s reorganisation.

Veteran politician Oburu Oginga has been confirmed as the party leader, anchoring a team that blends experience with emerging political figures.

Among those appointed are Abdulswamad Nassir and Simba Arati as deputy party leaders, while Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga takes up the role of national chairperson.

She will be deputised by Paul Otiende Amollo and John Ariko Namoit. Ahmed Abdullahi Jiir has been named national organising secretary, with Ruth Odinga serving as his deputy.

Rozaah Buyu assumes the position of secretary for political affairs, completing a lineup aimed at strengthening ODM’s grassroots mobilisation and national influence.

The changes come at a time when parties are recalibrating ahead of future political contests, with ODM seeking to consolidate its base and enhance internal structures.

The new team is expected to steer the party’s strategic direction in the coming years.
