Liberia has the highest rate of intimate partner violence (IPV) globally, with 34.6% of ever-married or partnered women aged 15-49 experiencing such violence in the past 12 months.
Benin follows closely with 33.3%, and Samoa ranks third at 26.8%.
Other countries in the top 10 include DR Congo (26.3%), Tanzania (26.1%), India (24.0%), Rwanda (23.6%), Gabon (23.3%), Lesotho (23.0%), and Kenya (21.0%).
These figures, sourced from the UNAIDS Global AIDS update 2025, highlight a significant prevalence of IPV in these nations.
