The most frequently reported challenge was consumer demand for cheaper products, selected by 37% of the total responses, highlighting the economic drivers of counterfeiting.

Inadequate enforcement followed at 27%, emphasising the need for stronger regulatory and monitoring frameworks.

Insufficient legal framework, chosen by 19%, points to gaps in existing laws that hinder effective action against counterfeit goods.

The high cost of anti-counterfeiting measures was a concern for 15%, reflecting the financial burden associated with tackling counterfeiting.

Additionally, 1% of responses fell into the "Other" category, indicating less common but notable challenges.
