    According to the State of Media Report 2024 by the Media Council of Kenya, Kenyans predominantly listen to the radio during the early morning and evening hours.

    The peak listening time is between 6 am and 10 am, with 58 per cent of listeners tuning in, likely during their morning routines or commutes.

    The second most popular slot is 7 pm to 10 pm, capturing 41 per cent of listeners, possibly reflecting evening relaxation or drive-time habits.

    Midday and afternoon slots (10:01 am–12:59 pm, 1 pm–4 pm, and 4:01 pm–6:59 pm) see lower engagement, ranging from 22 per cent to 24 per cent.

    Late-night listening (10:01 pm–12:00 am) is the least popular at just 9 per cent.
