Measles is a highly contagious viral disease that spreads through the air and can cause a rash, fever, cough, and runny nose.

It can be severe and even fatal, especially for young children.

Two doses of measles vaccination is needed to get close to 100% protection.

WHO has estimated that more than 60 million lives were saved globally since 2000 because of measles vaccination.
