A popular destination in the Gulf seems to be the favourite
hub for political deal-making for a top political figure in the country.
Corridors of Power has learnt that the plan to convince one of the political
parties was hatched during a foreign trip, and a meeting was organised by the
close allies of the top political leader in the Gulf city. However, the meeting
didn’t materialise as the political party leader who was being sought after
declined to travel. Instead, he purportedly said if they wanted to speak to
him, they knew his home and he was not ready for the meeting abroad.

with the ruling party is likely to lose his prestigious parliamentary role. The
legislator has persistently been the thorn in the flesh of the government,
criticising the leader, his allies, and policies in and outside
