Three pallets containing ballot papers and statutory forms arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Monday morning ahead of the May 14 2026, by-elections.

The election materials are intended for the Member of National Assembly by-election in Emurua Dikirr Constituency in Narok county, as well as the Member of County Assembly by-elections for Porro Ward in Samburu county and Endo Ward in Elgeyo Marakwet county.

The consignments arrived at the airport and were received in preparation for distribution to the respective electoral areas.

The ballot papers and statutory forms form part of the materials required for the conduct of the by-elections scheduled for May 14 2026.

Following their receipt at the airport, the materials are expected to be processed according to established procedures before being transported to the designated locations in the three counties.

The statutory forms included in the shipment are used in the administration and documentation of the electoral process, while the ballot papers will be used during voting in the affected constituencies and wards.

The by-elections will fill the vacant positions for Member of National Assembly in Emurua Dikirr Constituency and Member of County Assembly in Porro Ward and Endo Ward.

Preparations for the polls include the delivery and safekeeping of the required election materials in advance of polling day.
