The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations
Board has announced a series of senior-level job openings as it seeks to
strengthen its institutional capacity and enhance service delivery.
The Board invited applications from suitably qualified and
competent individuals to fill 13 vacant positions across various directorates,
including legal services, research and development, curriculum design,
examinations, supply chain management and information communication technology.
Among the key positions advertised are deputy director roles
in legal services, planning (research, innovation and consultancy), test
development, curriculum design and development, examinations administration,
examinations processing, supply chain management and information communication
technology.
Others are accreditation, quality assurance and
administration. The Board is also seeking to recruit assistant directors for
internal audit and supply chain management.
KASNEB noted that some of the positions are
re-advertisements, underscoring the need to attract the right talent to support
its mandate.
The Board, a state corporation established under the
National Treasury, is mandated to develop syllabuses, conduct professional,
diploma and certificate examinations, and certify candidates in accountancy,
finance, governance, management and related disciplines.
Applicants are required to submit their applications through
email, attaching key documents including academic and professional
certificates, transcripts and a detailed curriculum vitae. The application must
clearly indicate the job title and reference number.
KASNEB stated that shortlisted candidates will be required
to present original documents during interviews and comply with integrity
requirements outlined in Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.
These include clearance certificates from relevant agencies
such as the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Kenya Revenue Authority,
Higher Education Loans Board and a recognized Credit Reference Bureau.
The deadline for submission of applications is May 29, 2026,
at 11:59 p.m. East African Time.
The Board reiterated its commitment to equal opportunity

coordinates national examinations and certification for thousands of candidates
annually.
