SHA is a state corporation managing social health insurance that replaced the National Hospital Insurance Fund in 2024.
The authority announced two vacancies on Tuesday, calling for applications on their website.
"To enhance institutional capacity and deliver on its mandate, the SHA board seeks to recruit visionary, result-driven and experienced professionals for the following senior management positions," SHA said.
The positions offered were principal funds management officer and assistant director of corporate communications.
Legal documents required for the job applications included a certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and a tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority.
The applicants were also expected to present clearance certificates from the Higher Education Loans Board and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission and a report from the Credit Reference Bureau.
Candidates are also expected to submit a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, contacts of at least three referees and a cover letter demonstrating their suitability for the role.
The authority noted that the application deadline is on April 21, cautioning that canvassing would lead to disqualification.
Kemsa, the state company in charge of acquiring, storing and distributing medical supplies, offered one contract position in addition to three permanent and pensionable jobs.
The vacancies included director of quality assurance and regulatory affairs, deputy director of records management, assistant director of finance and assistant director of accounts.
The candidates were expected to provide a good conduct certificate from the DCI, a tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority, clearance from Helb and EACC, and a report from the CRB.
The authority instructed the applicants to submit their curriculum vitae and copies of relevant certificates through their portal not later than April 22.
The authority urged persons with disabilities and from marginalised areas to apply for the roles.
