Heavy rainfall on Tuesday morning left parts of Diani and Ukunda submerged, disrupting transport and business operations.
Major roads, including the Diani-Ukunda stretch, were covered in floodwater, slowing down traffic and forcing motorists to navigate cautiously through deep pools.
Tuk-tuks and matatus were seen struggling to move as water levels rose across the busy route.
Pedestrians waded through the murky water, while shopfronts along the roadside appeared partially flooded.
Motorists were urged to drive carefully as weather forecasts indicated more rain in the coming days.
The heavy downpour marks one of the heaviest in the coastal town this month.
