The viewing ceremony at Parliament was conducted under high security and was limited to official delegates.
Members of the public were not allowed into the premises, in line with state protocol for national leaders of Raila’s stature.
The Kenyan flag stood beside the casket, flanked by solemn-faced guards and leaders who came to honour a man remembered for his courage, persistence, and enduring contribution to Kenya’s political evolution.
The viewing formed part of the official state farewell organised in Raila’s honour, recognising his decades of public service and leadership.
