

The body of a missing aged woman was found in a borehole after suspected murder in Elburgon, Molo, Nakuru county.

Police said they are looking for the family's nanny who is missing
after the incident.
The husband of the woman is missing and the search for him is
ongoing, police said. The couple lived with the nanny, the family said.
The woman’s body with multiple head injuries inflicted by a sharp
object, was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
A relative had been trying to reach them on the phone in vain.
He arrived there and sought to know their whereabouts, and the houseboy claimed they had gone to church.
It was then that the relative reported to the police, prompting an operation that led to the discovery of the body.
The house boy, who also lived in the home, was detained for grilling.
Police revisited the scene on Monday and Tuesday as part of the
search for the missing man.
The motive of the murder was not immediately established, police said, amid efforts to solve the mystery of the same.
In another incident, detectives are camping in Kiangodu location, Chuka, Tharaka Nithi, for murder probe after a woman was found murdered and her body abandoned in a farm.
The body of Fridah Karendi Mbaka, 35, was found half-naked with blood oozing from her mouth.
Police said they suspect she was assaulted and strangled.
The motive of the murder was not immediately established.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
Teams of detectives were sent to the area to pursue the murder with an aim of arresting suspects behind the incident and others amid concerns of the rise in femicides.
Another woman, identified as Juliet Kianda, 43, was earlier found dead on a riverbank of Kinyuru river in Kithino, Tharaka Nithi county.
Police said they had arrested three suspects over the September 10, 2025, incident.
The bodies are lying in mortuaries pending an autopsy.
Three suspects, including the husband of the woma,n were arrested over the murder.
Elsewhere, police in Ekerenyo, Nyamira county are now
investigating murder following an autopsy on the body of one Thomas Nyamongo,
20.
The body of Nyamongo had been found on the roadside in Matongo area on August 26, 2025, after his murder.
An autopsy conducted on the body confirmed he had head injuries
inflicted by a blunt object, police said.
Police are now looking for suspects in the murder incident. The motive of the murder is yet to be known.
