A woman was found dead in her
bathroom after falling while taking a shower in the Ngara area, Nairobi, police
said.
According to police, the body of
Mary Wangari, 35, was found in the bathroom of her rental house after the
incident on June 21.
Police were called to the scene and
moved the body to the mortuary pending autopsy and further investigations.
It is not clear what caused her
death. She was alone in the house before her body was discovered by a
neighbour, police said.
Elsewhere in the Ngomongo area,
Kasarani, police are investigating an incident where the body of Faith Njoki,
23, was found on the roadside.
The cause of death was not immediately
established, police said.
Her husband told police she had left
the house on Saturday night without saying where she was headed.
A few hours later, he was informed
that her body was lying at the scene.
The body was moved to the mortuary
pending autopsy and investigations.
In Tala, Machakos County, a man was
found dead in a butchery.
The body of Francis Mutua was
discovered in a seated position long after he had died.
The deceased, aged 60, had come to
the butchery and asked to be allowed to sit and rest, attendants said.
He later fell asleep, and the
attendants left him there until the following day when he was found
unresponsive.

In Konoin, Bomet County, police said
they are investigating a murder after a man who had been assaulted succumbed to
his injuries.
Leonard Langat was taken to a local
hospital with injuries, alleging he had been assaulted.
He was treated and admitted in fair
condition before he succumbed.
The body had several injuries on the
head, buttocks, and legs.
The deceased had identified the
assailant, who was arrested for questioning.
The motive for the assault was not
immediately established.
Police say murder incidents are on
the rise amid efforts to solve them.
