Kenya Urban Roads Authority has announced the traffic disruption on Limuru Road, Aga Khan Primary section.
They said the disruption on Sunday will allow contractors to demolish an existing footbridge.
In a public announcement on Thursday, they said the demolition is to pave way for the dualling of Limuru Road.
"We wish to inform the public that there will be traffic disruption along Limuru Road at Aga Khan Primary School on Sunday August 20 as from 6am to 6pm," they said.
Kura advised motorists using the road to drive with caution as they approach the section and to follow the road signs provided.
They noted that the police and traffic marshals will be on site to enable the smooth flow of traffic.
"We apologise for any inconveniences that may be caused as we endeavour to transform urban mobility," they said.
