Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi on Monday morning arrived in Berlin, Germany.
Mudavadi is part of the delegation which will accompany President William Ruto to the G20 Investment Summit - German Business and the CwA Countries.
Upon arrival, the Prime CS was received by the Kenyan Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, Thomas Amolo and the Deputy Head of Mission Ambassador Esther Nyambura Mungai.
Earlier, State House spokesperson Hussein Mohamed had said the trip to Germany was focused on bolstering economic ties with Germany.
The trip will also focus on advocating for strong global consensus on climate action ahead of COP 28.
"In Berlin, Germany, President Ruto will join other leaders at the Compact with Africa (CwA) high-level conference initiated by Germany during its tenure as Chair of G20," Hussein said in a statement.
Still in Berlin, the President will showcase Kenya as a leading investment destination in the region, and make a case for strengthening economic ties between the EU and the East African Community.
Ruto will also advance discussions on Labour Mobility with Germany, and consolidate Germany-Kenya cooperation on Green Energy initiatives.
"This includes the production of green hydrogen and rehabilitation of Olkaria geothermal fields and grid stabilisation."
