Maasai moran, who shot to fame in 2015, after he expressed interest to marry the daughter of former US President Barack Obama, Malia Obama has penned her a love message as she celebrates her 24th birthday today.
Jeff ole Kishau, who hails from Suswa in Narok county is still optimistic that he will marry Malia someday.
"The old pessimist focuses on his growing number. The old optimist focuses on his growing blessings. Happy birthday most gorgeous and loveliest woman in the world, Malia Obama," Kishau said in a message posted on Malia's Facebook account.
"Soothing our souls with a heart-moving cocktail under the splendid acacia of the great Maasai Savannah while the sun shines brightest to our lovely grazing herds and at dusk, we return to our prominent Manyatta-a castle of the plains where our love and aroma become inevitable."
The moran also noted said that he has invited his friends and family to join him this Saturday to celebrate Malia's birthday in Narok town.
"We are celebrating the Queen's cake-cutting and birthday celebration in Arena Grill Narok. Top musicians from the Maa community like Ole Shimpi,Papua Masai,King Laiso, and Diplomatic Maasai among others will grace the event," he said.
Kishau had offered 500 cows bride price if he is allowed to marry Malia.
“I'm offering myself as a potential suitor for Malia Obama because she is very beautiful. I'm not able to sleep at night. I love her very much. I do not know good English but I know I love her,” he said then.
“I'm old enough to have babies but she will know my age once we get married. I will give the family 500 cows in accordance with African tradition and sell all my Maasai land in Suswa, Kedong and Masai Mara Game Reserve just to win her.
"I will be the happiest man in the world if the most powerful man becomes my father-in-law."
