Public Prosecutions Secretary Dorcas Oduor receives an award from Radio Africa Group CEO Patrick Quarcoo on behalf DPP Noordin Haji, the Star's 2018 Person of the Year

Journalists who gave exemplary service in the past quarter at the Star were feted on Friday in a ceremony at Lion Place that also paid tribute to DPP Noordin Haji.

Head of content Paul Ilado said, “The achievements we have made this year are recognition of our clear and deliberate strategy, collegiate leadership by the Super Desk, William Pike and our CEO Patrick Quarcoo.”

The Star journalist of the year award went to business writer Victor Amadala. In attendance were Kenya Editors Guild chief executive Rosalia Omunga and DPP secretary Dorcas Oduor, who came on behalf of Director of Public Prosecutions Haji.
