Outgoing Lang'ata MP Nixon Korir has won praises from Kenyans after showing up to witness the awarding of IEBC certificate to the MP-elect Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o.
Jalang'o on Thursday posted several photos and videos of the ODM certification event on his Instagram page.
He captioned one of the photos with,"Nixon Korir has handed over the mantle and wished me well...Thank you bro!"
Jalang'o thanked Korir for conceding and said they will work together for the good of the constituency.
"Everybody who we were competing together, I hereby welcome you so we can build Lang'ata again," he said.
Korir, while holding hands with Jalang'o, thanked the electorate for having him as their MP for the last five years, saying he will now work as an ordinary Kenyan.
