Garissa Township MP Duale retains seat after getting 9,905 votes

Duale beat his closest challenger Nasir Dolal of ODM who got 5,972 votes.

Garissa township MP elect Aden Duale talks to returning officer Abdi Yunis before being issued with the certificate.

Aden bare Duale has been declared Garissa Township MP-elect after he garnered 9,905 votes.

Garissa Township returning officer Abdi Yunis said Duale beat his closest challenger Nasir Dolal of ODM who got 5,972 votes.

Others were Abdullahi Mohamed of UPIA who got 5,529. Siyad Osman got 952 votes.

He has retained the seat for the 4th time. He contested on William Ruto's UDA party.
