Kenya Power records Sh1.1bn loss on 15% subsidy

Last year, the firm spent Sh26.5bn  on fuel cost based generated electricity.

Kenya Power has reported a loss after tax of Sh1.14 billion in six months to December 2022 on a high electricity price subsidy that saw the firm incur Sh13 billion in revenue loss.
