The early pacesetters who, have won all their 11 first-leg matches, will be without six key players who are away with the national team in Tunisia.
"We are going to miss those national team guys. That's given. But at the same time, it's been a great opportunity for some of our younger players to grow and gel during training and in friendly matches," said coach Brad Ibs.
"I think people are going to be surprised by our depth when we play on Saturday."
Veterans James Mwangi and Ken Wachira will help stabilise things for the sensational Thunder, a team tipped to win their first national title.
Eldonets Platinum will be at home for crucial matches as they host the University of Nairobi teams on Saturday at the Uasin Gishu Primary School courts.
"These are tough games away from home. We just finished our exams and so our fitness levels have dropped," said UoN tactician Eugene Genga.
"It's a hostile environment. We will be carrying a lot of rookies — who have never experienced this sort of pressure. It's an opportunity to learn how to play under pressure."
The ladies were clobbered in the first leg, especially on second shots and size, but Genga is hopeful of a better showing this time around.
Unbeaten national women champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) have two 'easy' fixtures in Nairobi and Nakuru.
Anthony Ojukwu's girls confront Strathmore University Swords on Saturday and wind up their two-game tour with a match against TH3 Swish on Sunday.
United States International University (USIU) Flames will miss Fridah Mwagomba due to exams as they host TH3 Swish.
Africa Nazarene University (ANU) will be in the North Rift to battle Platinum Eldonets and Eldonets Ladies on Sunday.
USIU Tigers are in a race against time to have key players shake off injury as Equity Bank Dumas await.
The Dumas have promised a good second-half showing.
