National Super League log leaders Migori Youth will this Friday seek to bounce back to winning ways when they host Mombasa United at Awendo Green Stadium.

Migori Youth suffered a 3-1 loss against the Michael Olunga Foundation Academy (MOFA) at Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Sunday,  their second loss in 12 games this season.

Mombasa United will be hoping to end their poor away record. The Gilbert Selebwa charges have lost all four of their away games and sit third on the log.

Migori Youth, under coach Sammy Otulo, lead the log with 26 points, followed by MOFA with 22 points same as third-placed Mombasa United. 3K are fourth with 21 points.

Bottom of the table Mwatate United will welcome Fortune Sacco at Wundanyi Stadium with their newly appointed Mwatate coach, Evans Mafuta, still chasing his first win since he returned to the club.

Kisumu All Stars host stuttering Naivas FC at Moi Stadium in Kisumu, and it will be coach Duncan Omondi’s first game in charge at the Lake side.

Former FKF Premier League side, Nzoia Sugar, welcome newcomers Kabati Youth at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma County, while Darajani Gogo host a rejuvenated Luanda Villa at Vapour grounds in Ngong. Nairobi City Stars lock horns with Equity Bank in an early kick-off at Vapour grounds in Ngong.

On Saturday, second-placed MOFA face a tough encounter against Talanta FC at Kasarani Annexe, as Gucha Stars host Kibera Black Stars at Gusii Stadium.

MOFA coach Charles Warinda said, “The two impressive wins against Gucha Stars and Migori Youth are now behind us. We shift our focus to the game against Talanta.”

He added, “Talanta are a very good side, but we are prepared for them. We know what to expect, and the boys are ready to go,” he noted.

Warinda, however, noted that conceding three goals in the last two games is unacceptable.

“It’s not good to concede. However, we have had a meeting with the boys and spoke about it. We have learned from this, and we will try to make it better,” remarked the tactician.

On Sunday, Soy United host Mully Children’s Family (MCF) at Eldoret Showground as 3K FC entertain Vihiga United at Moi Stadium, Embu.
