Arsenal's 15-year-old Max Dowman looks set to play Champions League football this season after being named in Mikel Arteta's squad for the competition.
There is no age restriction to play in the Champions League, so teenager Dowman could play for the Gunners in the competition as long as he was registered on the squad list A.
UEFA have released the Arsenal squad list, and Dowman is among the 23 players included.
Should Dowman, who was born on 31 December 2009 and made his Premier League debut at 15 years and 234 days last month, play before his 16th birthday, he will become the youngest player to appear in the Champions League.
The record is held by striker Youssoufa Moukoko, who was 16 years and 18 days old when he played for Borussia Dortmund in 2020. The Gunners kick off their Champions League campaign with an away game against Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday, 16 September - a team they beat 3-0 in their final pre-season match before this campaign kicked off.
Arsenal's eight senior summer signings have been named, including Martin Zubimendi, Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres. Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has left new striker Facundo Buonanotte out of his 23-man squad.
The Argentina international, who joined on a season-long loan from Brighton, spoke of the "opportunity to play in the Champions League for the first time" in his first interview with the club.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has omitted £30m signing Mathys Tel from his squad. Other summer signings, including Randal Kolo Muani and Xavi Simons, have been named, but Kota Takai, Yves Bissouma and the injured James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Radu Dragusin miss out.
Newcastle United brought in forwards Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa to replace striker Alexander Isak, who moved to Liverpool, and both are in Eddie Howe's squad.
Newcastle have also included summer signings Aaron Ramsdale, Antony Elanga, Jacob Ramsey and Malick Thiaw. Italy's Gianluigi Donnarumma, who helped Paris St-Germain win the Champions League last season, is one of four goalkeepers in Manchester City's squad after joining on transfer deadline day.
France midfielder and summer signing Rayan Cherki has been picked by Pep Guardiola despite being expected to be sidelined for two months with an injury. New arrivals Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli, Tijjani Reijnders and James Trafford are also in.
