

Experienced defender Francis Oduor has
signed for FKF Premier League giants Tusker FC as they continue rebuilding the
side ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Oduor, who previously turned out for
KCB, signed a one-year contract with the Brewers, which will run for the 2025/26 season.
Oduor
joins the Brewers with a wealth of top-flight experience, and he is expected to add
depth, leadership, and solidity to the squad as the team continues to build a
competitive side for the new campaign.
Speaking
after completing his move, Oduor expressed his excitement following the move to Tusker.
“Tusker FC are one of the most successful and respected clubs in the country. I’m proud to be here and eager to give my best for the badge and the fans. I’m ready to get started and contribute whenever the team needs me,” said the defender.
He added: “I want to make my contribution to the team’s success and give my best whenever called upon.”
Oduor,
nicknamed Collo, previously featured for Transfoc FC, defunct Oserian FC and Bidco United. Head
coach Charles Okere welcomed the new addition, describing him as a solid
defender with great awareness and discipline.
“His presence will boost our defensive options and bring experience to the dressing room. We are happy to have him on board,” added the tactician.
Oduor has already joined the team in training and is blending in well with his new teammates. Oduor's move brings the number of new players in the team to five. The club has already signed defender Eugene Ikutwa (Bidco), winger Yakeen Muteheli (Ulinzi ) and midfielder Vincent Otieno (City Stars), while Eric Kapaito has returned from Namungo in Tanzania.
George
Odhiambo and David Polepole have meanwhile been promoted from the Youth Team to
the senior team.
The club parted ways
with nine players, including John Byamukama, James Kibande, Luke Namanda, David
Odoyo, Boban Zirintusa, Deogratious Ojok, Mike Oduor and Lawrence Luvanda, following the expiry of their contracts.
Defender Yussuf Mainge will also leave after his season-long loan spell from Police FC.
