Champions National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) return to action when they face Trans Nzoia in a Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) league clash at Nyayo Stadium on Saturday.
The millers, who are fourth on the log, have won all their five games and are favoured against the young Kitale-based side.
Captain Timothy Kirimi, Robert Maraga, Brian Wekukha and Christian George are expected to lead NCPB's charge.
"They are a good team and have won some games despite the fact that they are new in the league," said NCPB coach Ryan Mathews.
"Our principal still remains the same. As long as they are in the league we are not taking any chances. We will treat every match as a final."
The Kitale-based side had a storming debut last weekend as they recorded three three wins in their four matches including a 54-21 drubbing of Inspired.
Coach Edwin Adamba said they are targeting at least two more wins despite having trained for just two days.
Daniel Ngoni, Brian Etyang, Kevin Wasike and Collins Simiyu showed immeasurable talent during their first city outing.
Kenyatta University will be up against Desert Scorpions in their opener as Rangers meet University of Eldoret Pippers, who are yet to play a game.
Trans Nzoia's second match will be against Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Jkuat).
Nanyuki, who lost 34-23 to leaders Ulinzi, confront 12th-placed Rangers, who have three wins from their opening four encounters.
On Sunday, Trans Nzoia will play two more matches, against Pippers and neighbours Rangers.
Technical University of Kenya (Tuk) start their campaign against Buccaneers Junior, who also have an exciting all-youngsters match-up against Inspired.
Pippers have another date against JKUAT while Rangers will end their trip to the capital against Kenyatta University.
