Kenya's pro-boxing poster boy Rayton 'Boom Boom' Okwiri has vowed to annihilate his Malawian nemesis Chikondi Makawa at the Nyayo Stadium indoor arena on Saturday.
The two pugilists will go head-to-head for the prestigious World Alliance Boxing Association (WABA) title in the much-anticipated electrifying clash of titans.
In an exclusive interview on Wednesday, Okwiri promised an explosive showdown that will leave Kenyan boxing enthusiasts on the edge of their seats.

Dubbed Finix Fight Night, the event is being organised under a license issued to Okwiri Management Ventures by the Kenya Professional Boxing Association.

Known for his sheer determination, the Kenya Prisons sergeant has been punching furiously ever since he quit the amateur ranks seven years ago.
Born on March 26, 1986, the southpaw boxer traces his lineage to Butere in Kakamega County. Okwiri drew international attention when he was named to Kenya's Olympic team for the 2016 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
On February 4, 2017, he made his professional debut, schooling Sakehe Mkalekwa at the Crown Plaza in Nairobi on June 8, 2019.
His pro boxing resilience paid off on the international stage when he pulverized Hussein Itaba to win the African Boxing Union middleweight title in his sixth fight.
During his latest fight at Nairobi's KICC Tsavo ballroom, Okwiri electrified the home crowd with an exhilarating performance to triumph over Tanzanian Ally Ndaro.
Despite losing the junior middleweight title to the International Boxing Federation (IBF), the former African Boxing Union super middleweight champion says he is unfazed.
He crashed to Emmany 'General' Kalombo of the Democratic Republic of Congo in their 12-round bout in Sandton, Johannesburg, Gauteng.
