The championships is making a comeback after a now-show last year because of the coronavirus pandemic. In the absence of El Sharkia, a new champion will be crowned. It is the men's 32nd edition and 23rd for the women.
Players will use the ACCC as part of their preparations for the African Cup of Nations slated for January 2022 also in Ghana.
