It is natural that democracy presumes various patterns and develops on varied footpaths in different countries in this world diverse in history, culture and ethnicity.

However, instead of respecting diversity and countries preferences, Western countries like Britain, Germany, France and the US have repeatedly tried to export their democracy in Africa and Middle East, only to create conflict and regional instability.

These democratic models touted by Western countries, particularly the big brother -US -is severely tainted and has descended into malfunction, political polarisation and partisan combats.  And one can prove the faulty of American democracy through increase in racism, inequality and deteriorating crisis in West African countries.

The America political system requires either complete reform or fundamental changes before it is exported to the rest of the world.

It is undemocratic to export immature democracy. The West has brought turbulence and destruction to a number of countries by exporting its democratic model.

Under the Joe Biden regime, America terminated 20 years of war in Afghanistan with a hasty secession of soldiers after smashing the holy country and destroying infrastructure and the future of several generations.

Moreover, the US "democracy" is equally increasingly anti-democratic globally, with its bloc politics, biased sanctions and arm jurisdiction against some nations, intentional pulling out from international treaties and organisations and typical double standards.

Several surveys conducted have indicated that Muslims and Arab countries are losing faith in Western democracies to deliver economic stability throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

There is no one designed democratic framework that fits every country internationally. And democracy is not wall paper either should not be Coca-Cola that is universal, but be like ice cream with diverse flavours to solve the concrete problems of the people.

Instances abound of the Communist Party of China in guiding the citizen to pursue, develop and realise democracy.  It is nurtured by the culture and traditions of the Chinese civilisation and fitted to the Chinese conditions while drawing on the realisation of humanity.

Under the Chinese political system, China has eradicated poverty, established moderate flourishing society in various fields and created miracles of fast economic growth and social stability.

All roads go to Rome. All routes to democracy preferred by the people themselves merit respect. The model that befits individual country best is always the most appropriate route.

There is no exclusive model of good governance that can be imposed worldwide since individual states have their own social political culture and historical circumstances that can shape political institutions, remarks Jeffrey D. Sachs, a professor at Columbia University, in the book 'The Age of Sustainable Development.'

Only democratic principle rooted in a state's unique social surroundings is sustainable, reliable, efficient and can flourish and progress.
