Celebrated Kenyan female artiste Nikita Kering' brought home two awards, Best Artiste RnB and Soul Award and Best Female Artiste East Africa Award.
Nikita shared the good news on her official social media page through photos as she received the awards.
"Thank You! And @afrima.awards I didn't do this alone, I did it with you. Thank you and Thank God..."
Nikita was nominated against Africa's top stars in the three categories, including Nandy and Zuchu.
Other Kenyans who represented well at the Afrima Awards include Shanah Manjeru, who became the youngest award winner in the history of the event, shattering a record previously held by Nikita Kering.
Sauti Sol won the Best Group/Band at the 2021 Afrima Awards.
