American actor Rotimi says his mother was emotional when she met Vanessa Mdee.
“The funny thing is when they first met they both cried,” he said in an interview with 'The Angie Martinez Show on Power 105.1'.
"It was the weirdest thing. It was like a 'finally' moment. It was so weird. They met maybe a month into me and her dating."
Rotimi explained how he knew it was time to propose to Vanessa Mdee.
He said six days after he met Vanessa, they went through their phones and deleted any other love interests they had before.
Rotimi proposed to Mdee in December on New Year's Eve last year.
They met at Essence Festival, which slowly transitioned into their relationship becoming official in 2019. Mdee moved from Tanzania to Atlanta for their relationship.
