Gospel singer Betty Bayo says people give up good lives searching for peace of mind.

Through her Facebook page, she stressed the need for peace in one’s life.

The mother of two, who recently found love again, gave rhetorical examples.

"Why does one leave a well-built home and go far away to rent a single room and sleep on the floor?" she asked.

"Why does one resign from a well-paying job and opt to start a kibanda (stall) instead?"

Betty has in the past said she was in a toxic marriage with Pastor Kanyari, the main reason she left.

In her post, she pointed out that some people leave their marriages after over 20 years together and start a new life, all in pursuit of peace of mind.
