Radio’s popular duo Mbusi and Lion have decided to take their popular reggae nights closer to their fans.
The hosts of the Radio Jambo Reggae Night every Thursday at Nairobi’s Club Tribeka have moved it to Samba Bonita on Thika Road and Mahutini Village in K-South.
“This move takes reggae music closer to the fans,” Lion told Word Is, “There are many clubs hosting reggae nights in town and we thought we should reduce the hustle for the fans by taking the experience closer to them, at their home pubs.
On Thursdays, we will host at Samba Bonita on Thika Road and on Fridays at Mahutini Village in K-South which will also have a live band.”
Mbusi and Lion are known for their popular drive show on Radio Jambo dubbed Teke Teke.
