How to schedule Telegram messages to send later

The popular messaging app, Telegram is slowly trying to beat WhatsApp by slowly introducing cool new features.

With the scheduling feature, Telegram says it is extremely useful if you use Telegram for work, personal gain, or business since it is convenient.

Perhaps it is a proposal that you should send to a group at a specific time, with scheduling, you can do that easily and run extra errands on your plate.

The recipient will not know that the sent message was scheduled.

Here is how to schedule your message

Step 1

Open the Telegram application and enter the group or private chat you want to send.

Step 2

Type your message and simply long-press the send icon.

Step 3

It will reveal 2 possibilities; click the schedule message and choose the time and date.

Step 4

Select the date and time and click send you are done. Your message will be sent at the exact time, but it will send using one tick, then later double tick once the scheduled time arrives.

Telegram is also working on a feature that users will soon be able to buy and trade usernames on a platform called Fragment, this is according to a recent announcement from Telegram CEO Pavel Durov.
