How to send confidential emails via G-mail

In a world where technology is evolving, you can never be too sure about the safety of your messages, emails, or even phone calls.

But it is possible to secure emails you send via G-mail.

If you do not have a secure email provider, it is possible to work with what you have.

Some experts also believe it is possible to keep some degree of privacy with the Gmail account by using a fake name, location, and birth date when registering, and always sending emails using a VPN.

How to secure your email.

Step 1

To use confidential mode, Log in to your G-mail account.

Step 2

Click on Compose.

Step 3

In the bottom right window, click ‘Turn on confidential mode’ or click the padlock icon.

Step 4

Type in the message you want to send. If you want to attach a file in the message you are composing, Click File > Properties. Click Security Settings, and then select the Encrypt message contents and attachments check box.

Step 5

Set an expiration date and passcode, then click save.

   Click Send.
