The Shincheonji Jesus Church Evidence Tabernacle Peter Tribe Tanzania Church (led by Pastor Yoon Hyun-cheol, hereafter referred to as Shincheonji Tanzania Church) conducted a "Public Bible Exam on Revelation" on the 18th in major cities including Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with local Protestant pastors and members of the Shincheonji Jesus Church.

This exam was organized with the purpose of having believers, who hope for heaven, examine whether they have adhered to the teachings of Revelation (Revelation 22:18-19) based on the words of Revelation that every believer must know today.

The exam consisted of 10 main questions centered on Revelation and 33 sub-questions, allowing participants to reflect not just on knowledge but on whether they have believed and acted according to the teachings.

A total of 138 individuals participated in the exam, including 98 local Protestant pastors and 40 members of the Shincheonji Jesus Church.

This marks the first instance of multiple pastors participating overseas, in contrast to last year when only one pastor from a mainstream church participated in a similar exam in South Korea.

The results showed a difference in average scores between groups. The average score of Shincheonji members was 95 points, while Protestant pastors averaged 7 points.

However, the primary purpose of this exam was not to determine superiority but to provide an opportunity for each participant to examine their faith through the teachings of Revelation and draw closer to God.

One pastor who took the exam stated, "Seeing the Shincheonji members write down answers without hesitation made me reflect on my own faith and my mission as a pastor," adding, "In the future, I will learn about Revelation through the Shincheonji Zion Christian Mission Center and teach my church members correctly to guide them along God's path toward heaven."

Shincheonji Jesus Church leader Lee Man-hee has emphasized that in order to enter heaven, one must fully understand and adhere to the teachings of Revelation, particularly verses 18-19 of chapter 22.

He has also stated that the standard for judging truth and falsehood, orthodoxy and heresy, lies not in human traditions or doctrines but solely in the Bible, stressing the need for believers to examine their faith against biblical teachings.

Previously, Shincheonji Jesus Church made headlines last year when it conducted a Bible exam with pastors from mainstream churches in South Korea, where only one pastor participated among a total of 313 examinees.

The recent exam in Tanzania is significant, as it marks the first time that multiple pastors from overseas have participated.

A representative from the Shincheonji Jesus Church remarked, "The Bible exam is not merely an assessment of knowledge but a chance to confirm whether one's faith is based on biblical teachings," expressing gratitude that pastors both domestically and internationally are gradually participating.

"We hope that more churches and congregants will engage in exchanges centered around the Word and unite together," they concluded.
