The United Democratic Front (UDF) is a party that has been in existence for the last two years. The party's professional wing
under the Western Kenya professional caucus hosted a cocktail at the Crowne Plaza on Tuesday evening.
The event was to recognise their flag bearer at the forthcoming election, deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi. The event was also aimed at bringing more professionals to the fore in leading their country.
“Professionals need to leave their comfort zone and take part in running their country,” said Maria Mbeneka who is leading the UDF professionals lobby.
On his part the DPM thanked them for the cocktail and told them not to worry about the coalitions that they are hearing in the news as they can formed before or after the election.
