Headscarfs are both functional and stylish, to keep your hair out of your face, concealing a less-than-perfect hair day and instantly elevating your look.
They are fun accessories that don't require a lot of effort to style.
Here are five stylish ways to wear your headscarf;
Babushka
If you want to lay low, protect your hair from the wind, or just want some old Hollywood glamour style, a Babushka-inspired scarf look is your way to go.
Fold your scarf in half pulling one corner over the other, then simply place it over your head and tie it under your chin.
With this, the wind has nothing on your hair.
Braid It In
Fold your scarf into a long even band and divide your hair into three sections for braiding.
Tie your folded scarf once around the middle section of your hair and add two ends to two side strands.
Start braiding and secure the ends with a hair tie.
Bandana cover
Fold your scarf half diagonally to make a triangle.
Hold the corners and gently drape the scarf around your head with the point of the triangle aiming down your back.
Tie the scarf at the back of your head as a wrap with your hair down or in a low bun.
Pony up
If you enjoy low or high ponytails, a headscarf would be your best accessory.
Start by folding your scarf in half diagonal to make a triangle.
Then fold the point of the triangle, so you are holding the straight edge.
From the opposite side, roll the scarf in until you have a long, even band then tie the band on your pony and let the loose ends fall free.
Headband
Fold your scarf diagonally in half to make a triangle then fold the sharp point of the triangle, such that you're holding the straight edge.
Place it around your forehead and tie it at the nape of your neck.
